In case you couldn’t tell by the website, I’m a born and raised Long Islander.

A brief college stint in Rhode Island led me back to NYC studying film and television at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.

A crisp diploma in hand I headed west. As a head set production assistant, I quickly became known as “Joe Hollywood”. The glamorous name covered up the fact that I was the first one on set, the last person to leave and the only person making photocopies until the wee hours of the morning.

Then it was home to NY. I spent a couple of years living in Hell’s Kitchen and a few more living in Queens. Then I finally landed back in the ‘burbs with my wife and a small house we like to call “The Compound”. Almost as much time of my life is spent on the Long Island Rail Road as it is launching shows, creating image campaigns and being an all around awesome producer.

So that’s why the website looks this way.

If you’re interested in the work -- I’ve been in the Nickelodeon family for almost 10 years strong. Typically that’s a long time in this industry but with the brand constantly changing and my responsibilities always growing it feels like a new job every couple of years. I’m currently a Senior Writer producer for TeenNick.
